Freddy von Frieberg is a beautiful, loving, gentle, sweet-tempered 2 year old Shepherd mix. He is eager to show you the commands he has learned in basic obedience classes. Extra tall and 85 pounds, housebroken, Freddy is a mild-tempered goofball guy with moderate energy and very dog-social, loving to be part of the fun at your neighborhood dog park, and is happiest when he has a dog-buddy. He is also great with cats and small dogs! A seasoned car traveler, Freddy wants to join you on errands, and will wait patiently for you. He is good with people but, being on the shy side, he prefers that he approach them at his own pace rather than people pushing themselves on him. He gains confidence readily and has overcome a number of fears. Freddy is very friendly and affectionate once he has an established relationship, and the people at his large doggy daycare facility all adore him. He is not overly-demanding of attention and is happy to nap or chew a bone if you are busy. He is good with children who will pet him gently and respect him. Freddy will be a wonderful addition to a home that respects his shy nature while also wanting a go-with companion who is a big part of their lives.
